About the role

As our Commercial Analyst for Vector Communications you will assist the team in managing the business’ commercial portfolio and ensuring this grows and evolves in accordance with our overarching strategy. This is a very analytical role and will be responsible for developing relevant commercial models (for example, cost to serve) to evaluate new opportunities as well as optimise and maximise the value for the existing products. In addition, you will provide in depth data analysis for management information purposes. Your primary focus is providing decision making support in the form of business and financial analysis that will help with strategic decisions, build business cases and assess different business opportunities along with

·         Undertake financial modelling & valuation assessment as required for any M&A opportunities

·         Develop a database of cost and revenue inputs to build the knowledge base and help standardise the process to understand cost to serve

·         Identify & analyse the financial value propositions for different customer groups and product segments

·         Assist Manager – Commercial and Product in evaluation of contractual agreements when required

·         Maintain a good relationship with Tax, Legal and Finance to ensure their advice is incorporated into the analysis

Who we are looking for?

You have experience researching key commercial ideas to deliver tangible business results and analysing and interpreting financial information to assess commercial solution. You’re methodical in your approach and strong analytical skills with proven ability in interpreting performance trends. Exposure to SAP and ServiceNow would be advantageous. You are a sound strategic thinking and astute with strong commercial acumen. Understanding of taxation methods and how to calculate NPV and IRR will come in handy.
